BlacKnite® drilling fluid additive performs greater than the sum of its parts. This “original & patented” multi-sized particle, multi-blended dispersed coupled gilsonite, lignite and carbon black in PPG-surfactant based liquid has a primary function to prevent stuck pipe, reduce fluid loss and create a borehole condition that is not only stable, but stronger with exceptional HPHT fluid loss control. BlacKnite® drilling fluid additive provides exceptional performance whether you are drilling the horizontal shale plays or the tectonic fractures of Colombia.

Product Recommendations and Mixing Procedures
BlacKnite® can be mixed directly in mud systems. Additions of BlacKnite® are best accomplished by adding the product directly to the suction tank or through the rig hopper; however, the product can be added as a chemical pre-mix when necessary. Concentrations of 1-3% (depending on mud density) are sufficient for borehole stability, HPHT rheology control and HPHT filtrate reduction and assist in inhibition.
