Coastal Spot®
has become the most successful pipe-freeing spotting fluid
in every area that it is used.
It is a unique blend of (PAO)
polyalphaolefin synthetic hydrocarbons and special additives
that penetrate the filter cake around the stuck pipe to lubricate it
reducing friction.
The SX-PlusTM component
in the blend seals the pore spaces reducing the
differential pressure and allowing the pipe to become free and
stay free.
Coastal
Spot® has excellent residual lubricating qualities and is easily
incorporated back into the mud system eliminating the high costs
related to disposal.
